At Academy of Hope

Currently there are no job openings available.  Please keep in mind that our classes are taught primarily by volunteers.  From time to time there are staff or contract positions available and job postings will be made on our Idealist.org page, and announced here.  

Stipend Volunteers

Academy of Hope is a service-site for several year-of-service programs, including: NotreDame AmeriCorps; Lutheran Volunteer Corps; and Discipleship Year. Stipend volunteers apply through these programs, or the AmeriCorps website, and are assigned service sites once accepted.

D.C. LEARNS, Washington D.C.'s Literacy, Education, Advocacy, and Resource Network, keeps a list of jobs in literacy in the D.C. area.  D.C. LEARNS has an AmeriCorps program of their own, Literacy*AmeriCorps, with service sites at literacy providers throughout the D.C. area.
