Our Funders
Over 85 cents of every dollar directly benefits the Academy's educational programs. Because we utilize a small paid staff, an active board of directors, and a dedicated volunteer corps, our costs remain low. Academy of Hope's fund raising successes have enabled us to continuously improve the quality of our educational programs, maintain quality facilities, and to expand our services to meet the overwhelming demand for adult education in the District of Columbia. The Academy of Hope board also provides critical fiscal oversight and ensures that the organization maintains ample financial reserves for long-term sustainability.

Individual Donors
Individual donors are critical to the success and mission of Academy of Hope. We are grateful for the years of support provided by individuals like you. Donors who support adult education believe as we do that access to quality education is the first step in helping adults to break the cycle of poverty for themselves, their families and their children because, when adults learn, children prosper. Gifts made by individual donors are fully tax deductible.
