Class Registration

Academy of Hope offers classes throughout the year with the exception of a break during the winter holidays and the month of August.  Individuals interested in joining our learning community, must complete registration including all testing requirements before they can begin classes.  Student fees are $30.00 per term.  All fees go directly to support student activities including classroom materials, fieldtrips at significantly reduced costs, and student celebrations.

• 18 years of age or older

GED Classes

EDP Program

Class Schedule

Each week, we offer adult learners more than 40 classes in all five subjects found on the GED: math, writing, science, social studies and reading.

Our classes also incorporate important life skills that will help you in your day-to-day life.  For example, we teach various styles of writing as well as everyday math skills, such as balancing a checkbook and figuring out interest payments on a loan.

ABE, GED and EDP Class Times:

• Morning: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Afternoon: Monday through Thursday, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Evening: Monday through Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Computer Classes:

Classes meet from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm every Wednesday from September 23 through December 9
